Julia is a multidisciplinary designer, known as a "joga nas 11"—a popular Brazilian expression used to describe a well-rounded soccer player. A true Carioca, born and raised in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, she believes her creative repertoire is the result of a diverse and plural upbringing throughout her childhood and youth in the outskirts.
She holds a degree in Advertising from IBMR, having earned a full scholarship through ProUni, and specialized in Art Direction for Cinema, Advertising, and TV at PUC-Rio. She briefly ventured into academia, becoming a finalist in the Do It Challenge competition in 2017 with the Folha em Branco project, promoted by Eureca and AIESEC to encourage sustainable solutions aligned with the UN’s SDGs. In 2018, her thesis A Figura Feminina na Publicidade Mediante a Versão Ocidental de Maria Madalena was selected for the Communication and Religion panel at Intercom, the Brazilian Congress of Communication Sciences.
In the market, she has gained extensive experience in different sectors, working with major national and international brands such as Motorola, Zinzane, Estácio, Wine, Osklen, Submarino, Ortobom, Coral Tintas, among others. In the audiovisual industry, she has developed conceptual and visual projects for films and series, including productions in development at HBO and O2 Filmes.
